A CHAFFORD fencer has really made his mark by coming fifth in the British championships in Sheffield.
Competing in the Epee section, Steven MacPherson (12) produced a series of excellent displays to claim his place in the British rankings.
To get to Sheffield in the first place, Steven had to pre-qualify in his region.
Steven, who trains in Gravesham, was presented with his medal by former World Cup winner, Jon Willis.
