A MAN suspected of being an illegal immigrant was arrested in Aveley on Friday afternoon.
A member of public alerted police at just after 2.50pm after a number of men were seen to leave a lorry near to Hall Avenue.
A number of police cars plus the police helicopter attended at the scene.
A 20-year-old-man (of no fixed abode) was arrested on suspicion of being an illegal immigrant.
