POLICE are seeking witnesses to a collision between a pedal cyclist and a grey Ford Focus car on Argent Street, Grays around 6.55pm yesterday (July 18).
The 17 year old male cyclist from Orsett was taken to Queens Hospital, Romford with a serious head injury. The female car driver was uninjured.
The road was closed whilst police investigated the circumstances of the collision and reopened around 11pm.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Pc Neil Ross at Chigwell Road Policing Unit on 101.
