East Enders star delighted to be in Thameside panto

JACK And The Beanstalk will be making a Giant return to the Thameside Theatre this Christmas and is guaranteed to be Fe, Fi, Foe, Fun for the whole family. The Thameside Theatre has built an amazing reputation for delivering first class entertainment and the tale of Jack’s quest to Giant Blunderbore’s castle looks set to break all previous box office records. The Pantomime will open on Friday 6 December 2013 and run until Sunday 5 January 2014.

Following last year’s amazing success with Cinderella, Polka Dot Pantomimes will once again be producing Essex’s best value Pantomime that will combine a West End cast, spectacular scenery, glittering costumes and some truly magical surprises. Leading the cast will be EastEnders icon and star of Strictly Come Dancing Natalie Cassidy. Natalie is known to millions of viewers as Sonia Jackson, but has since starred in Celebrity Big Brother and is a regular presenter on many popular TV shows as well as hitting the dance floor on Strictly in 2011. Natalie will be waving her magic wand as Fairy Meadows to help make Jack’s dreams come true.

Essex Boy Jay Perry will be taking on the lead role of Jack and is well known for being part of the teen pop group S Club Juniors, who had a string of hits in the noughties. West End star Wain Douglas is back by popular demand for his third year – this time as Dame Tilly Trott, after his superb performance as one of the Ugly sisters last year in Cinderella.

So get ready to roar with laughter and cheer our hero Jack on his magical journey to Giant Blunderbore’s castle in the sky as he battles to save his Princess and Daisy the cow from the evil Poison Ivy. Will he find the golden goose and magic harp and save the day? Oh yes he will!
