Thurrock Film Festival: Nuns, muppets and Dirty Dancing!!

THE Thurrock International Film Festival is well underway with lots of events still to come. Today (Friday 27th) sees the International short film category screening, with one filmmaker flying over from Ohio, USA to be there.

Then at 7pm and 9pm respectively, Dirty Dancing and Independence Day will be screened.

Tomorrow (Saturday 28th) a special child friendly screening of Muppet Treasure Island will be held at 10am and at midday free tea and biscuits will be served before a screening of The Sound of Music (Starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plumber).

At 3.30pm the last short film category, Fiction will be screened before the awards ceremony takes place at 7pm.

Tickets are £3 for each event and all will be held at the Thameside Theatre in Grays.
