Grays Shopping Centre toilets have been awarded grade Gold, in this year’s ‘Loo of the Year’ awards.
Grays Shopping Centre is proud to be receiving the Gold award in recognition for providing a great restroom facility for all their shoppers.
The award comes after a major overhaul of the customer toilets which were officially opened by the Mayor of Thurrock, Cllr Yash Gupta MBE last year and are the only ones in the town centre.
The toilets were completely transformed, creating a first class facility within the heart of Grays, specifically designed with shoppers in mind. The landlord invested £100k into the new refurbished toilets with enhanced lighting and modern, new decoration finishes throughout. The toilets were vastly upgraded bringing a much improved feel to the overall shopping experience.
The 2013 Loo of the Year Award presentation Ceremony will take place on Friday 6th December.
Grays shopping centre manager Keith Evans said: ‘Grays Shopping Centre has led the way in the town to provide the best services it can for its customers, the award from the ‘Loo of the Year’ goes some way in highlighting the efforts made by the landlords for the funding of the toilets and the team here at the centre for the ongoing efforts they make every day in keeping them for the shoppers and visitors to the centre to use’
