THE 
Rotary Club of Thurrock Gateway descend upon Sainsbury’s at Chafford Hundred to make their annual collection for local & international charities.
Over the weekend around 16 club members collected from the generous folk of Thurrock raising over £1,100.58, whilst Christmas Carols serenaded the shoppers.
The money raised along with funds from other ventures will be gifted to local & international charities at the club’s Annual Charity Awards event on 19th May 2014 at Langdon Hills Golf Club.
The Club’s President Karen Sayers-Irving would like to thank Liz Stevens (PR Ambassador) of Sainsbury’s Chafford Hundred for all her help in making this event such a success.
