UKIP supporters were out and about in Thurrock on Saturday with what may well be part of a concerted push between now and the european and local elections in May.
Headed by their UK Director of Policy, Tim Aker as well as a number of high profile UKIP councillors from across the country, the team spread across the constituency, from Tilbury to Grays to Aveley with a leaflet that focussed on local issues in Thurrock.
YT caught up with Merton councillor, Suzanne Evans as well as Aveley councillor Robert Ray to assess the political mood on the doorstep in January 2014.
