St Luke’s Hospice gives thanks to their anonymous donors

A MESSAGE from St Luke’s Hospice.

“On behalf of our patients and all at St. Luke’s Hospice, I would like to thank your readers who donate anonymously to us.

St Lukes Hospice is privileged to be supported by many individuals and organisations with donations of money, goods, services or their time to keep our services running. We are truly grateful for all support, and endeavour to acknowledge and thank everyone, who gives to us, for their kindness.

We are, however, aware that some people prefer to give anonymously. Almost one third of donations made to our 2013 Christmas Appeal, which was kindly highlighted in the pages of ‘Your Thurrock’, were given by anonymous donors, therefore we have not been able to thank them personally for their generosity which has enabled our Christmas appeal to reach just over £20,000.

In these financially challenging times public donations to enable our caring work are increasingly difficult to attract.

Consequently we are extremely grateful for all the support we receive which is greatly valued. So a heartfelt and sincere ‘THANK YOU’, goes out from everyone at St. Luke’s Hospice, to those who have donated and remain anonymous to us. We would like to assure them that every penny they have given will be used in the best possible way to add real value to the care and support we are able to give to patients and those who use our services.
