AS WE reported on Monday, the chair of Thurrock Arts Society, John Scowen passed away on Monday after succumbing to Motor Neurone Disease.
John was one of the borough’s favourite sons.
John’s daughter Sarah was always planning to run the London Marathon and although naturally grieving for her beloved father, Sarah has very intention of getting to the start line and running every step of the 26 miles and 385 yards of the course.
