Horndon on the Hill 1st xi 192 all out
Belhus 1st xi 166 for 9.
A WELL balanced Belhus bowling attack restricted the visiting team to a respectable but achievable first innings score of 192. Paceman Matt Lewis Junior and Spinner Dan Dreher captured three wickets each on a wicket which generally favours batsmen. The Horndon bowlers produced an equally spirited response however in restricting Belhus to 166 for 9 in their reply. This was despite a fine century from Belhus run machine Joe Joyce ( 102 not out )
The home side would be disappointed that Joyce could not find the support needed to get them over the finish line.
Stanford Le Hope 2nd xi 126 all out
Belhus 2nd xi 127 for 6.

Batting first on a humid afternoon Stanford le hope were dismissed for 125 . Martin- Hussey claiming 3 for 25. The Belhus run chase was anchored by a vital half century from the experienced John Lewis Junior . He received sterling support from his skipper Mark Sansom who finished on 30 not out.
Brentwood 4th xi 214 for 5
Belhus 3rd xi 215 for 3
It proved to be a batsman’s day when Belhus thirds travelled to meet Brentwood fourths on their home turf. Batting first Brentwood clocked up a healthy 214 runs in their 52 over innings. Alan Maidment bowled well for the visitors –taking 3 for 55. There must have been something special in the tea however as the Belhus stroke makers blasted their 215 run reply in only 37 overs after the interval. Hard hitting Suhail Shahid lead the assault with a belligerent 70. He received excellent support from youngster Jake Wolfe ( 51 ) and veteran Mike Randall ( 49). Completing an emphatic and memorable win for Belhus
