IF IT is to be the final T Fest then it certainly went out with a bang as a host of acts lit up the festival.
It has always been a simple but effective idea. One stage, two days, free entry, a sprinkling of local and national acts and away they go.
Over the weekend a wide variety of acts entertained as the sun baked down on them. Local acts such as Karis May Angels, Tall Dark Friend, Henrietta Adewole rubbed shoulders with established acts such as former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt, Sweetchix and Danyl Johnson.
As usual, the public really enjoyed it as families sat together, whilst others went to a variety of stalls scattered around the park.
Local councillors did enjoy the event but also repeated their mantra that with the council facing £37.7 million worth of cuts, they may not be able to find the £18,000 for T Fest.
