HEALTH officials were called to a house in Thurrock after a man in his 60s died unexpectedly after visiting Africa.
Public Health England officials went to a house in Nutberry Avenue, Grays, after he was discovered by relatives.
The man died at the scene at 3.30pm on Tuesday (Aug 12th), but a spokesman for Public Health England said ebola had been ruled out quickly.
A spokesperson said: ‘Due to the person’s travel history, Ebola was briefly considered, but after an assessment this was ruled out as a potential cause of death by Public Health England.’
