EAST THURROCK’S steady start to the season continued with a worthy 1-1 draw against Hendon.
East Thurrock had a chance in the first minute when Sam Lechmere headed over a Reece Harris cross.
Emmanuel Osei had a number of chances in the first half but failed to convert them.
In the 28th minute, he was through with just the keeper to beat but shot weakly at the keeper.
Hendon took the lead in the 35th minute. Ibe tapped in from two yards after woeful defending.
Hendon should have added a second in the second half after a defensive mix up between two Rocks defenders.
Sam Lechmere equalised in the 64th minute with a two yard tap in as well.
