Appeal after man stabbed in Grays

    DETECTIVES have appealed for witnesses after a man was stabbed at Grays.

    The incident happened when the victim, a local man aged 19, was walking home along Conway Gardens at about 4pm on Sunday September 14.

    He was pushed to the ground and stabbed in the side with an unknown implement and suffered a serious internal injury. He is receiving treatment at a London hospital where his condition was described as stable.

    Detectives want to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information about the victim’s movements at Grays Beach, shortly before the incident.

    There is no description of the attacker but the victim is white, 6ft 1in and of slim build. He was wearing khaki-coloured combat shorts, a black T-shirt a blue Adidas jacket and red Nike trainers.
