POLICE have appealed for information to find a teenage girl missing from her home in Tilbury.
Jessica Pittaway, 16, was last seen leaving her home in the town on Saturday August 28.
She is now thought to be staying with friends in the Chadwell Heath and Romford area but has refused to make any contact with relatives.
Jessica was found to be working at a business in Chadwell Heath but when a relative went to the site earlier today, (Wednesday September 17) to urge Jessica to return home talk to her she ran away.
She has made no contact with her family since August 28 but police are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and are now appealing for any of her friends to call officers if they have any information about her whereabouts.
When seen today Jessica was wearing a grey onesie. She has long red hair which is now slightly curly.
Anyone with information should contact the Local Policing Team at Grays police station on 101.
