FIRE CREWS were called to a house In Dock Road, Tilbury where the wooden staircase had partially collapsed and a man had become stranded on the first floor of the property. The man was not injured.

Crews used a triple extension ladder and rescue lines and brought the man to the ground floor of the house by 6pm on Sunday evening (Oct 5th)..
