A MASKED charity ball held to raise funds and awareness for has raised thousands.
The Masquerade Ball was organised by Lucy Bidgood, who lost her husband, Gareth, 33, in July 2013 after he suffered an epileptic seizure.
Mrs Bidgood, of Waverley Gardens, Grays, is raising awareness of Sudep (sudden and unexplained deaths in epilepsy).
Lucy said: " I’m pleased to say it was a huge success. People were requesting another event for next year already!
"We raised around £2-£3000 and we are still collecting in all money.
