THE BIG guns of UKIP came to Aveley on Monday afternoon to lend support to the candidate for the Aveley and Uplands by-election, Tim Aker.
Douglas Carswell was joined by MEP Patrick O’Flynn as they knocked on the doors of Purfleet Road and surrounding streets.
