THIS was a big big win for Thurrock who beat third placed Wroxham at Ship Lane.
Thurrock opened the scoring with a a Loui Hazelwood penalty after Ishmel Demontagnac burst into the penalty area and was bundled to the ground.
Thurrock threw everything at Wroxham and it paid dividends but only in the final minutes.
With three minutes to go Thurrock broke away and this time Ross Wall made no mistake extending Thurrock’s lead to two-nil.
Loui Hazelwood, Ross Wall and Greig Stewart had their own game of keep-ball on the edge of Wroxham’s area before the next attack with Onyemah setting up Hazelwood who brought yet another save.
As full time approached Mark Onyemah latched onto a Ross Wall through ball and blistered the ball into the net to put the game beyond reach.
