Woman robbed in broad daylight in Grays

    POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the robbery of a woman in Grays.

    A 24-year-old woman from East Tilbury was walking along an alleyway known as Church Path near to the junction of Wharf Road at about 2.30pm on November 23 when she was approached by two men who threatened her and stole her handbag.

    The bag is a small black square shoulder bag with a zip on the top. It contained a three-figure sum of cash. The woman was uninjured.

    The first suspect is described as black, of medium build and aged in his 20s. He was wearing a black hooded top and black gloves. A black scarf was covering his face.

    The second man is white, of medium build and aged in his 20s. He wore similar clothes to the first and had his face covered.
