Specsavers show great vision by going to Orsett primary

THE team from Specsavers in intu Lakeside Shopping Centre visited Orsett Church of England Primary School to teach pupils about the importance of eye health and distribute 150 high visibility jackets and 150 wristbands.

Store director Jay Visrolia said: ‘Sight and visibility are key factors in safe road use. We hope that, with their new vests, Orsett pupils can help us set an example to other pedestrians by staying visible and safe while out and about.’

Head teacher at Orsett Church of England Primary School, Lalie Godfrey said:

‘We are absolutely delighted to receive the high vis vests and would like to thank Specsavers for their generosity.

"Our children often walk to school on rural roads and it was a great sight the next day to see them all walking into the school in the Hi-Vis vests – the children were delighted to be wearing them.’
