A TEENAGER has been arrested after a house fire in Grays.
Fire crews were called to a terraced house in Hampden Road, Grays at 2330 hrs on Thursday night.
Using one hose reel jet crews had extinguished the fire by 00:06hrs.
Essex Police were also called and arrested a 19-year-old man nearby.
He was arrested on suspicion of arson with the intent of endangering life.
He was taken to Grays police station where he remains in custody.
