A PLANNING application for a new hospice for Thurrock plus 50 executive homes was approved by Thurrock Council’s planning committee last night (Thursday).
In front of a packed public gallery, the committee heard from speakers both for and against the application.
Councillors also asked a number of testing questions.
But in the end, the majority voted in favour of the application for the hospice and homes to be built in Little Malgraves off Lower Dunton Road in Horndon.
