POLICE have renewed an appeal for witnesses following the death of a motorcyclist who was involved in a road crash in Grays.
The 27-year-old rider from Grays died at Royal London Hospital on Saturday July 4 after suffering multiple injuries in a collision on Friday June 26.
He has been named locally as Zach Smallcombe.
The incident happened at the junction of New Road and Bridge Road (B189) shortly before 7pm when a black motorbike and red Mercedes car were in collision.
Police arrested the car driver, a woman in her 60s from the Grays area, on suspicion of careless driving. She was bailed until October 10 pending further enquiries.
