POPULAR TV star, Jeff Brazier got wound up in the Thurrock 100 flag to show his support for the council- led walking festival. Prepping for his second season as panto prince at Thameside Theatre he spared a few minutes to promote the ten walks taking place around the borough from 9 to 18 July. Jeff is a qualified life coach as well as a presenter and knows the importance of activity in keeping mentally and physically well.
Jeff said: “Walking is a great activity that costs nothing and is easy to do. Thurrock 100 sounds like the perfect way to have fun and find out more about where you live too.”
The ten walks are:
Thursday 9 July – Ockendon along the Mardyke
Friday 10 July – Horndon-Orsett-Bulphan
Saturday 11 July – Grays to Purfleet
Sunday 12 July – Around SS17
Monday 13 July – Chafford Hundred and the Gorges
Tuesday 14 July – East & West Tilbury
Wednesday 15 July – Little Thurrock and around
Thursday 16 July – Tilbury & Chadwell St Mary
Friday 17 July – Aveley and Belhus Park
Saturday 18 July – Grays Town and Stifford Clays
