STUDENTS and staff at Ormiston Park Academy are celebrating today as the number of students leaving them with 5 A* – C grades including English and maths has increased.
Additionally, outcomes in nearly all subjects have improved. Of particular note, the number of students securing the top grades in English and Mathematics has increased. More students are also taking and succeeding in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as subjects including Modern Foreign Languages, History, Geography and Statistics.
The school is working hard to increase the aspirations of students, and the Principal thinks it is their unshakeable belief in their ability that has underpinned their achievements. As well as increased achievement across the board, there have been some fantastic individual success stories:
Chantelle Mhone achieved 5 A grades and 6 B’s, achieving As in both English and Maths
George Repole achieved 1A*, 3As and 4 B’s, including an A* in Maths and an A in Statistics
Sharon Imonode achieved 5 A’s, 2B’s, and 3 C’s, with As in both Biology and Chemistry
