IT IS not too late to sign up for courses at Thurrock Adult Community College. We have a variety of creative courses for those who have an artistic flare and want to learn a new hobby or just want a bit of ‘me’ time.
Our Fashion Dressmaking course is designed for beginners and intermediates to create items from patterns to fit perfect. If you are complete beginner to the sewing world, ‘learn to use a sewing machine’ is a new workshop for 2015.
Learn to draw and paint is a short 6 week course or if you like to create floral displays try your hand at our short themed courses looking at Christmas, historical and spring arrangements.
Each course will teach you the basic skills needed through working on samples, watching demonstrations and taking part in group practical work, come and a learn in a relaxed, friendly adult environment.
