A MAN has died following a road traffic collision in Tilbury last month.
The collision happened in Civic Square shortly after 4.20pm on Thursday, August 20 and involved an elderly pedestrian and a double decker bus. The pedestrian, an 82-year-old man from Tilbury, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal London Hospital. Sadly he died in hospital on Tuesday, September 1.
A 48-year-old man from Rochester is on bail pending further police enquiries in relation to this matter.
He is due to report back to officers on Friday, November 20.
