THE LABOUR Party have held the ward of West Thurrock and South Stifford in a By-Election.
The by-election was called after the resignation of Labour cllr Terry Brookes.

Compared to the By-election in 2014, the Labour share of the vote fell from 50% to 42%; the UKIP vote fell from 34% to 30% and the Conservative vote increased from 15% to 20%.
