Tilbury 5 v 3 Phoenix Sports
THE DOCKERS were in impressive form when they beat Phoenix Sports, 5-3 at Chadfields.
Emile Aiken opened the scoring in the 27th minute but Phoenix hit back just four minutes later though Ricky Freeman.
Neil Richmond scored just after half time. Any hopes that Phoenix would get back in the game were dashed when they had Jacob Mingle sent off after 58th minutes.
Tilbury really made them pay. Kurt Smith scored in the 68th minute and Harry Cook in the 72nd minute.
The Kent side did get in back through Alex Teniola in the 75th minute and then made it very interesting as Tilbury conceded an own goal in the 77th minute but Harry Cook added a fifth in injury time.
The result sees Tilbury rise to thirteenth in the league.
