Police appeal after racial abuse incident in South Ockendon

ESSEX Police are appealing for information after a youth threw eggs at a resident’s living room window and racially abused him.

A teenager, thought to be aged between 14 and 17, threw the eggs at the home in Darenth Lane, South Ockendon, at about 9pm on October 25.

When the 43-year-old resident challenge him, the suspect hurled racial abuse at him before running off.

The suspect had short dark hair and wore a red hooded top.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pc Rob Watts at Ockendon neighbourhood policing team on 101.
