CRUISE & Maritime Voyages (CMV) will be welcoming BBC’s Pudsey Bear, the symbol of ‘Children in Need’, into their UK head office building in Purfleet, Essex.

Mike Hall, Head of Marketing at CMV said “In the week leading up to Friday 13th November, the actual official appeal day, we aim to raise a few hundred pounds in-house by selling homemade sweet and savoury bakes. The Great British Bake Off will have nothing on what is scheduled to take place here.”

Each department, within the expanding cruise operation, has been charged with making certain types of bake on different days. The company are also holding a raffle on the Friday when all the staff are expected to wear something bright yellow or spotty.

As an incentive, if the fund raising target is met, each CMV Head of Department has agreed to see how many marshmallows they can fit into their mouth. The loser will have to pay a forfeit!
