QUIZZERS took part in the The Rotary Club of Thurrock Gateway’s ‘Annual Mega Quiz’ evening and raised money for BBC Children In Need.
70 quizzers attended in total and an impressive £550 was raised on the night.
Rotary Club PR Chris Meads said: “A massive thanks to Lisa Pauline Hambelton and Kiera Hambelton for their quiz master skills and to all the quizzers for their participation."
The event was ably supported by The Interact Club of Hathaway Academy, Grays, whose bake sale raised £80 towards their Nepalese charity.
The Club meets on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month at The White Hart Inn, Grays, RM17 6HR at 7 pm. All are welcome to attend.
