A MAN from East Tilbury has been spared jail after being found guilty of ill-treating an elderly man in his care.
A court heard that Aaron Oliver (30) of Solway, East Tilbury provided one to one care for an elderly man (who cannot be named for legal reasons) who was described by the court as "very vulnerable".
Oliver was committed to prison for 15 weeks suspended for 12 months, given 150 hours of unpaid work and fined £750.
