A LORRY driver arrested on Thursday on suspicion of immigration offences has been released without charge.
He was arrested on Thursday after Essex Police were called to Hedley Avenue, Grays at around 5.40am after reports that a number of people had been seen leaving a lorry.
Officers and the police helicopter attended to search for the people.
Police received a further report at 8.50am this morning of people leaving a lorry in London Road, Grays.
Officers arrested 23 people in total on suspicion of being illegal immigrants, who will be handed over to Border Force.
