BECOME a Thurrock Super Scientist at Coalhouse Fort, East Tilbury during February half term.
Two exciting sessions – funded by Heritage Lottery – are being organised by the Coalhouse Fort team for children aged between six and 12 years old.
On Monday 15 February visitors will experiment with exploding rockets, different materials and how they react to each other.
On Thursday 18 February the super scientists will make their own electromagnets and tin can phones while learning about historic communications on ships travelling along the Thames.
Sessions cost £5 and places are limited. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
