Busy few months for Mosaic Choir

MOSAIC Thurrock’s Fun Choir took part in three successful concerts in the lead up to Christmas 2015 all raising money for charities.

Firstly in early December they were at Havering Road Methodist Church, Romford where in excess of £350.00 was collected for the church.

Mid December saw them spending 3 hours in the central atrium at Lakeside bedecked in their festive hats & singing their way through almost all their repertoire of Christmas songs to raise over £450.00 for the London Air Ambulance.

Lastly they took part in the annual Grays Rotary Club Christmas Concert along with The Becontree Brass Band & several other performers including a local school, who all helped raise over £4000.00.

There was also a very special concert at a local care home where one of the choir member’s parents is a resident. The audience joined in with many of the familiar songs & a good time was had by all.

To celebrate their 20th year the choir are looking at planning several events throughout the year, including an anniversary concert in October.

They welcome new members & are available for concert bookings so please check out their website http://mosaicchoir.wix.com/mosaic, Facebook page or Twitter @the
