Morning of rail chaos on C2c line due to overhead power failure

0900 hrs

Due to earlier disruption the 09:05 London Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness due 10:09 will now start at Upminster.

0830 hrs

Due to overhead power line failure the 08:17 London Fenchurch Street to Grays due 08:56 has been cancelled.

Due to overhead power line failure the 08:08 London Fenchurch Street to Pitsea due 09:08 will be cancelled.

Due to overhead power line failure the 08:59 London Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness due 09:59 has been cancelled.

0800 hrs

Due to a failure of the overhead line power supply between Fenchurch Street and Upminster/Tilbury Town trains are currently severely disrupted.

Trains have been further delayed by over-running Network Rail track repair work between Pitsea and Leigh-on-Sea. Customers are advised to use Abellio Greater Anglia services between Southend Victoria and London Liverpool Street, London

Overground between Upminster and Romford and TfL Rail between Shenfield and Liverpool Street via Romford where-ever possible; as well as TfL Buses to connect with the London Underground services.

Network Rail staff are responding to this incident and are working to identify the cause of the problem and reduce the area affected. If your journey has been delayed by 30 minutes or more then you are entitled to Delay Repay compensation which can be claimed using the c2c website or by picking up a form at one of our stations.

TFL Rail are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.

Due to a Overhead Line power failure between West Ham & Tibury, ALL c2c services are subject to delays & cancellations.

Until further notice main line will terminate at Upminster. Passengers can use District Line into central London

Abellio Greater Anglia and London Underground are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.

Due to overhead power line failure the 08:32 Laindon to London Fenchurch Street due 09:08 will be cancelled.
