Despicable thieves steal hundreds of Despicable Me headphones in Thurrock

ESSEX Police are appealing for information following the theft of more than 300 children’s headphones from a lorry parked in a layby on the A13 in Thurrock.

It happened sometime between 11pm on Wednesday, February 24 and 3am on Thursday, February 25 in the layby on the A13 Southend bound just before the junction with the A128.

The curtains of the blue lorry were slashed and one pallet of 374 Despicable Me Minions headphones was taken, worth around £7,000 in total. A picture of the headphones is attached.

Anybody who saw any suspicious activity in the area or who may have been offered the items for sale is asked to contact Pc Emma Ridings at Grays on Essex Police 101. People can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
