OVER 600 students attended the annual Careers Fair at Palmer’s College which was held on Tuesday 22 March.
With more than 35 employers and training providers exhibiting at the event. It was a great opportunity for students to talk to people face to face and find out the different options available to them.
Palmer’s was happy to welcome The Mayor of Thurrock, Councillor Sue Gray.
Mark Vinall, Principal of Palmer’s College said: “This is always a valuable event for our students and I was delighted to see so many employers supporting the careers event, including employer representation from 16 former Palmer’s College students.”
It was also great to see some of our former students back at Palmer’s College representing their new employers. These included Lucia Doyle, an apprentice at RBS, Sophie Pratt working with the London law firm Ropes & Gray, Brodie Plunkett, an EY Associate and Sam Rohrbasser, an engineering apprentice at the Ford Motor Company.
