Palmer’s College students succeed in historical design brief

BTEC Media students at Palmer’s College recently had the opportunity to work with an external client, Thurrock Council Museum. The brief was to design some promotional print materials that the museum could use to increase footfall.

Three groups took part and the curator of the museum Simon Brinkley visited the College to watch the presentations and choose a winning group.

The winning group, which consisted of Lewis Kitchenham, Charlotte Lodge, Fenn Bradley and Jack Puncher, will have their work displayed in the museum and Council offices.

Media tutor, Leanne Jordan, said “It was a great opportunity for the students to work with a ‘real’ client, to a brief and timescales. The students worked really hard and I am extremely proud of them”.
