STANLEY and Clarence Road in Grays will be closed to traffic for three consecutive Sundays during June and July.
The two roads will be closed on Sunday 19 June, Sunday 26 June and Sunday 3 July between 9.30am and 4pm.
The closure will enable traffic management works to take place as part of the Grays town centre highways improvement scheme.
Diversions will be set up to try and minimise disruption.
Westbound traffic will be diverted via Orsett road, Hathaway Road, Lodge Lane, Elizabeth Road, Hogg Lane, Eastern Way and London Road.
For access to the Grays multi-story car park, cars will need to travel through the Grays Bus station on Crown Road and turn left.
Residential access will still be available for Bedford, Clarence, Bradbourne, Grange and Finchley Road via Bridge Road.
Route diversions will be clearly displayed and temporary traffic control measures will be in place to reduce disruption.
