UKIP go on attack over Jackie Doyle-Price’s EU meeting "snub"

A UKIP MEP for the East of England has expressed his anger at being snubbed by Thurrock MP Jackie Doyle-Price over a forthcoming EU debate.

Cllr Tim Aker MEP said: "If you look at Jackie-Doyle-Price’s voting record you’ll see she has been serving her masters in Downing Street and Brussels rather than the people of Thurrock. I recall that she was too busy debating foreign aid than turn up to the first public meeting on the Thames Crossing.

"Jackie Doyle-Price believes in EU membership, believes in open borders and believes in soaring foreign aid. I believe in Thurrock, UKIP believes in Britain. That is the choice on June 23rd.

"I called on Jackie Doyle-Price to hold a debate on the EU referendum earlier this year but I got the same response as many residents when they ask her for help – silence.

"Why was Thurrock’s most popular party and the UK’s most trusted party on the EU excluded from these debates?

"As an MEP that lives within 200 yards of the venue you would have guessed they would have asked me to join the panel. If you want to know why we should leave the EU then feel free to visit my office at 49-51 Orsett Road, Grays between 10am and 4pm on Monday to Friday."

YT would like to point out that any decisions regarding invitations were not made by St Peter’s Church.
