VISIT the Artists’ Studios at High House Production Park, Purfleet, RM19 1RJ on Saturday the 9th July.
As part of the Thurrock Art Trail, many of the artists will be opening their doors for visitors from 11am to 4pm. All are welcome from those interested in art to those just curious to know what goes on there. A wide spectrum of art can be seen including painting and printing, sculpture in metal and wood, and textiles for art, fashion and outdoor events. Meet the artists and find out about the exciting, creative works being made here.
Explore the site at High House Production Park, Purfleet, which contains the Royal Opera House Scenery Workshop and Costume Department and the Backstage Centre.
The children’s playground will be open and there are stunning views of the River and the QE2 Bridge.
If you fancy a conducted tour, at 11am, Ali Pretty the Artistic Director of Kinetika is leading a walk round Acme Studios. This is in conjunction with Thurrock 100 Walking Festival.
