THE KARIS May Darling Foundation will be holding our 5th Family variety performance day on Saturday 9th July at Gable Hall Football Grounds Southend Road Corringham from 12pm-10pm
A spokesperson said: " The event is our main day each year to raise money for our UK regiseterd charity, we support lots of local children and young adults in performing arts and sport
"We audition lots of different local acts and also have attendances from some high profile performers on our main stage, this year we have the Duallers, X Factor finalists Che Chesterman,Alien, the voice Brooklyn Lamiman, BGT Amy Mottram, Sweet Chix and Youth Creation.
"Our team have worked very hard and the main stage will also have 5 dance groups,local Irish dancing and cheerleaders along with Thurrock Baby ballet
"Our event has over 40 local craft stalls, food stalls and a licensed beer tent
We have a kids zone which has 12 inflatables from assault courses to giant slides this is just £5 all day for a wristband and is fenced off area,A sports zone which will hold many football challenges, all run by former professional footballers
"There is free car parking on site, and we will have a performance by the Thurrock marching brass band
"During the day we will be holding various raffles from our foundation stall and our main raffle will be held to raise money for a young lady to buy a new sports wheelchair, all proceeds will go to her fund."
Wayne Hibbert will be opening the show at 12Pm and we have a DJ Harrison Ball playing on the stage from 730-10pm to end the day. Its always a great family day out and will not disappoint those that come along to support us. Every penny raised goes straight to our foundation
