Ormiston Park Academy celebrate exam success

STUDENTS and staff at Ormiston Park Academy in Aveley, are celebrating today after receiving fantastic GCSE results and marking significant improvements across key subject areas.

Increasing numbers of students have attained A* – A grades and the highest number ever of students have achieved A* – C in Maths and English. Of particular note students have excelled in English, with Ormiston Park Academy students now outperforming last year’s national average by some 13%.

The academy is delighted that so many of its students will be able to take up their chosen post sixteen pathways and continue to flourish.

As well as increased achievement across the board, there have been some fantastic individual success stories. Star students who will continue their studies and aim to achieve their aspirations to go to top universities are:

Kamaal Bursari – 3A*s and 6As

Daniel Oloyede – 3A*s, 4As, (+ 1B and 1C)

Nathan Abbey – 1A*, 5As and 3 Bs

Fabiha Choudry – 1A*, 3As and 5Bs

Additionally, Ormiston Park Academy is immensely proud of Jake Maynard who will be starting a two-year Technical Theatre Apprenticeship in collaboration with the Royal Opera House (Production Park) in Grays.
