A GRAYS woman who twice urinated against a war memorial has been jailed for outraging public decency. reports the BBC.
As first reported on YT, Kelly Martin, 42, first desecrated the monument in Grays in April.
She did so a second time while on bail in June, the day before the 100th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Somme.
The mother-of-five was jailed for seven months at Basildon Crown Court.
Judge John Lodge, sentencing, said: "Each of these offences is so serious that only a custodial sentence is appropriate."
