A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a road traffic collision in Thurrock this morning.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at 3.36am today (29th September) to Farm Road, Orsett, to a report of a van leaving the road and overturning in a field.
An ambulance crew, ambulance officer, volunteer doctor and London Air Ambulance were dispatched.
They treated a man who had suffered a suspected broken pelvis and broken leg.
He was taken by land ambulance to Royal London Hospital for further treatment.
The air ambulance medics also travelled with the patient en route to hospital.
