Come and join the Make a Difference’ clean up event this October!

NGAGE, the community organisation and Volunteer Centre for Thurrock are encouraging people and local groups to help make a difference’ this October.ngage are holding a Grays clean-up day on Wednesday 19th October, 11am 2pm and are encouraging people to come along and get involved.Annette Lewis, community worker for ngage said “Some areas in Grays are in need of a good litter pick and general tidy, so we have identified 4 routes that can be taken and cleaned on the day.If people are Time Bank members they will also be able to claim Time Credits for helping at this event “The clean-up day has been organised to support Make a Difference Day’, one of the largest single days of volunteering taking place on Saturday 22nd October 2016. If you’re are not able to get involved in the clean-up, there are still many ways in which people can make a difference locally such as taking part in a consultation, volunteering, joining a local community group or just helping neighbours with simple chores.
